Starter Kit Returns
Eligibility
- • Must be returned within 30 days of purchase
- • Kit must be in usable condition (glass jar, SCOBY, cloth cover, guides)
- • Opened/used kits are still eligible for refund
How to Return
- 1. Email us — hello@kickasskombucha.co.za with your order number, reason for return, and confirmation
- 2. Get a return label — We'll send you a prepaid return label (unless you prefer a refund without return)
- 3. Ship it back — Send it to the address on the label
- 4. Get refunded — Your money will be refunded within 5-7 business days of receipt
Alternative: If you'd prefer not to ship the kit back, email us to discuss. We may accept a refund without return in certain cases.
Kombucha Subscriptions: Addressing Issues
If You Receive Damaged Kombucha
- 1. Contact us immediately — hello@kickasskombucha.co.za with photos, order number, and date received
- 2. We'll replace it — Send a replacement shipment at no charge, or skip your next shipment credit (your choice)
- 3. No return necessary — Kombucha is perishable; we won't ask you to ship it back
If the Flavour Isn't Right
Not happy with your flavour selection?
- • Next month, change your mix — Log in and update flavour preferences before shipment
- • Or skip — Skip the next shipment and come back when you know what you want
- • Or cancel — Cancel your subscription anytime, no fees

One-Time Kombucha Orders
Damaged Shipment?
- 1. Contact us within 7 days — email hello@kickasskombucha.co.za with photos
- 2. We'll replace it — Ship a replacement at no charge
- 3. Or refund — We can refund your order instead
Defective Product?
- 1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving it
- 2. Describe the issue — We'll ask about taste, smell, carbonation, anything unusual
- 3. We'll resolve it — Replacement shipment or refund, your choice
Change of Mind?
One-time orders are non-refundable if there's nothing wrong with the product. However, if you'd like to try a subscription instead, contact us to discuss options.
Shipping Damage
We ship kombucha in insulated, protective packaging to prevent damage. If your shipment arrives damaged despite this:
- • Contact us immediately with photos
- • We'll replace it at no charge
- • No return necessary — We don't ask you to ship back damaged kombucha
